Our Lyrical/Contemporary classes combine ballet and modern dance to create a fluid, yet dynamic and expressive dance form. These classes are great for improving strength and coordination in boys and girls. Chart topping ballads and many alternate, abstract pieces of music are used in Lyrical/Contemporary making it an enjoyable creative outlet for children and teenagers.

Lyrical is a blend of ballet and modern dance. This class builds a strong centre and combines precision leg work with an ease and fluidity in the torso, often to ballad music, with an emphasis on technique and expression.

Contemporary incorporates modern & post-modern aspects of dance- some examples include martial arts movements, yoga positions, mime, ballet & lots of improvisation.
