PERFORMING ARTS FACULTY 2024

Staff at Plié are selected  for their qualifications, experience, dedication to teaching and their connection with our students. They are all trained personally by our studio principal, to ensure continuity and a positive experience for all of our students.

Plié choose to have a large team of teachers working across all our campuses, to give our students access to versatile teaching methods, different styles of dance, and lots of inspiration!!

Our entire teaching staff work as a team, by all working together to ensure the development of our students. Our staff have regular meetings to aim for continual improvement, to share information to benefit our students learning, and to inspire and support one another on our teaching journey. We all invest time in professional development, by attending regular teaching seminars, dance classes and by dancing together as a team on a weekly basis. Our entire staff are training together under Zac Jones program ‘Heal Yourself & Move’ and have all completed Accidental Counsellor training through Lifeline.

The highlight of our year is performing for all our students at our annual 'Teachers Concert' where we raise funds for our studio to upgrade equipment or costumes, or support any of our Plié families who made be in need.

Plié  also provide opportunities for our  students to work with guest industry professionals at workshops throughout the year. From musical theatre performers, to touring dancers, out lucky Plié dancers attend external workshop by dancers touring from USA, and have had private workshops at our own studios with Alexandra Carson (Janet Jackson back-up dancer), Jason Coleman (Ministry of Dance, SYTYCD), Zac Brazenas (Britney Spars back-up dancer) Tom Richardson (NYC choreographer), Anthony Gabriel (Steps On Broadway), Nat Jobe (The Lion King, West Side Story, Adele) plus many of our own successful Plié graduates who have come back to share with us their professional experiences.
