Tumbling classes for kids
Plié runs tumbling classes for kids from Kindy up, grouped by level so every child trains with others at the same stage. Classes run at all four of our studios: Cromer, Warriewood, St Ives and North Sydney.
Tumbling is a class in its own right, and it's also the base skill for All Star cheer. Athletes in a level 2 cheer team or higher do one tumbling class a week on top of team training.
Where and when
Cromer: Level 1 and Level 1/2 tumbling on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, on our full-size sprung cheer floor
North Sydney: tumbling on Wednesday, plus a Monday class for experienced tumblers
St Ives: beginner tumbling on Wednesday
Pittwater (Warriewood): check the timetable or call the office for this term's times

Coaching
Our 2026 cheer and tumbling program is supported by USA coach Kathy Cook, who runs three in-person team clinics during the year (March, August and November) and supports the teams with virtual training through the competition season.
Questions parents ask
What age can my child start tumbling?
Level 1 tumbling starts from Kindy. Tinies at Cromer also get a taste of tumbling in the Monday Hip Hop/Pom/Tumbling combo class.
Does my child need to be in a cheer team to do tumbling?
No. Anyone can join a tumbling class. Cheer athletes in level 2 teams and above are asked to do one tumbling class a week as part of their team commitment.
Can we try a class before enrolling?
Yes, and your first trial class is free. Please fill in a short form at the front office before the class so we have your child's emergency and medical details.
